A Post to Check Out for Many Reasons

Published by Coach Kip under Believe It, Choices, Conceive It

http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2007/10/30/14161/066

I came across this  story this morning and it got me thinking.  Hey I am a coach, a teacher, I love football, hockey, golf, I feel like I am a man.  But I also care about the environment.  I can debate the merits of Global Warming on many different levels all day long, but I will never argue against the impact that pollution is making on the world.

I am also a Michigan Native.  I love the state and if you have not been there you have to go north to really see what Michigan is about.  Better yet don’t go there I want to keep it all to my self.

But here is the problem, and as I see things the problem with a lot of us.  Convention says that we can’t do something.  Well guess what, it can be done.  Sometimes you just have to close your eyes and look at things differently.  You have to think in different ways.  You have to see things that just have not been seen before.

I have come to believe over the past year in my personal development that there is nothing that can’t be accomplished.  Be creative, look at things differently.  Maybe someday you can create an H2 that gets 60 Miles per gallon.

Personal Aspirations Part 2

Published by Coach Kip under Positive, Process, Success

There are several different kinds of personal aspirations that I have come across. They are even titled different things such as Personal Statement, Personal Commercial, Inspirational Statement, and more. They are all the same thing.

  • A Personal Aspiration is a statement, a poem, or a motto, that should help guide you through your day, and help mold your life.
  • A Personal Aspiration must be yours. It must be written by you for you. It does not matter what others think of it, it only matters if it is good for you.
  • A Personal Aspiration must be read all the time. Once you memorize it you can go over it at any time. I like to read mine in my car on my way to teach, then again while I am brushing my teeth before bed.
  • A Personal Aspiration should be in a place that can be seen. I still use an old fashion planner and I have mine in it. Every time I open the planner it falls out and I see it. I also have it taped to my mirror in my bathroom.
  • A Personal Aspiration should be read out loud. It should be read with passion and belief. I should be read with the attitude that you have already become that person.
  • A Personal Aspiration should be read whenever things get tough. It is like you giving yourself a pep talk.
  • A Personal Aspiration should include goals, beliefs, and things that you want to become and it should be a reassurance of the things that you already like about yourself. It should be an outline of who you are working toward being.
  • A Personal Aspiration is yours. It can be done in any way you wish as long as it works for you. It should always be positive, uplifting, and encouraging. Every great leader, business person, coach, athlete has a personal aspiration of some sort. They may not call it that, but they have one.

In the next part we will talk about how to write it.

Challenge Update

Published by Coach Kip under The Challenge

Well I have not been making much money, but I have been making a lot of connections. I know that is an important part in trying to build and grow a business. So income has been down, but the future looks up. It is just a short two months and a week until the deadline for the challenge to be over. There is a few things coming up that will boost our sales, and hopefully boost them quickly.

Professor Moolah - My associates and I are about to release an ebook. It has turned out to be a really great book in which Professionals can learn how to market their company and services using a blog. It is very simple and easy to use. We really think that it will be a great book for anyone wanting to take their company online and expand it rapidly.

EZ Playbook - We are just about ready to publish our new site design. It will be very expansive and comprehensive in its scope and what we want to accomplish with it. Am I being vague? Absolutely. You will see it soon, and I will let you know when it happens.

So there is some good things happening and I will keep you updated.

As far as the journey is concerned: my wife and I are busy researching options and opportunities to support our journey. We are very interested in writing for a travel company, either online or in magazine form. We are planning on using a lot of different media to accomplish this. Another update that you will have to wait for. We will create an opportunity page soon.

Here are the stats

9/9/2007 Begin $0.00
10/13/2007 Previous $360.02

Personal Aspiration

Published by Coach Kip under Aspiration, Success

In my quest to find what this blog is going to be about it has begun to develop itself. How? Well I am about to let you in on all the secrets.

The first secret on how this blog came to be is personal aspirations. What is a personal aspiration? It is a personal motto, commercial, uplifting words, reassurance, and goals all rolled into one. Wow that is a lot. Well it is kind of hard to describe. I’ll let you in on mine.

I am a dynamic, energetic, positive leader. I live my life knowing that all good things will come to me as a result of my positive actions and thoughts. Money rains down upon me. Money comes to me effortlessly. I coach, mentor, and teach in a positive and effective manner always. Relationships are the backbone of my life and I welcome them. I keep in touch with old friends, and find new ones all the time. I am positive and magnetic. I am learning, growing and getting better every day in every way.

2/20/2007

As you can see it is both a statement to myself, and to the world. It is a personalized goal list, it is a to do list, it is a form of self appreciation, and self discovery. It is a way to give you belief, confidence, and the ability to overcome minor and major hurdles.

A personal aspiration is the cornerstone of success. Over the next week I will be describing personal aspirations, helping you to develop one, and teaching how to use it.

Are you ready for success in anything? I am, this is the start.

Coach Kip to Embark on Journey

Published by Coach Kip under Vagabonding

A couple of weeks ago I wrote that my wife and I where thinking of buying a boat and living on it.

Well we have decided what we are going to do. Coach Kip and his wife have decided to take a year long trip living solely on a boat. We are going to sell our townhouse, our cars, and most everything else that we don’t need and buy a Trawler.Grand Bank Trawler

A trawler is a boat that is similar to a house boat but made for traveling in larger open water. A trawler usually has at least one stateroom a kitchen or galley, and a living area. We are looking for a boat that is in the 45-65 foot range (yes we do know that is a large range in boat speak), and a cost of about $65,000 to $85,000.

It does seem very inexpensive for a boat that size but looking on different boat selling sites such as boats.com and boattraderonline.com it is certainly possible to get a boat in that size and that price range. That is very exciting for us.

Now there are just two questions that remain. When do we leave and how do we make enough money to do this?

I think that the most popular question we are going to get is “how do you have enough money to take a year off and sail a boat around?” Well you don’t have to have enough money saved up to sail for an entire year. You just need to make enough money while living on the boat to sustain your life on it. In other words you have to have to make enough money in a way that is location independent to be able to live on a boat.

How is this done? Well the first thing that we have found is that you have to get your mind right. You have to begin to think the right thoughts.

  • You have to be able to visualize, and be able to see yourself doing what it is that you want to do.
  • You have to be able to believe in what you want.
  • You have to know exactly what it is that you are going to get, and know with all your heart, your body and your soul that you are going to get it.

We will live on a boat beginning next summer and we will travel freely to where ever we want.

President Trawler

Check for updates soon, and another blog with me and my wife that is devoted just to our adventure.

Challenge Update

Published by Coach Kip under The Challenge

The Challenge update will be very short this week.  The previous post is what I have been working at this week.  Again most of my income has been made from affiliate marketing.  I am still gathering information for two products.

It gets more and more obvious to me that it will take my own product to make the money that I want.

Here are the stats.

9/9/2007    Begin    $0.00
10/13/2007    Previous    $316.71
10/19/2007    Gross    $134.67
10/19/2007    Expenses    ($91.36)

Transforming Yourself

You get what you put in and people get what they deserve. — Kid Rock

I went to a Kid Rock concert last night at the historic Ryman Auditorium. It is a really cool place and everyone who is anyone has played there. Elvis to the Beatles, to anyone country, and now Kid Rock. I have yet to see a bad concert there, even though we had obstructed view seats.

Back to the lyric. The song is Only God Knows Why off of his Devil Without a Cause album. Now I can’t say that I am a big fan, I do like to see him in concert he is very entertaining.

As I was watching him, and actually watching the crowed more than him a few things struck me. If you are familiar with his music you know that he talks a lot about being the best, the “baddest”, the boldest, and everything else. “I’m going platinum”, “I’m the American Badass”, and of course “I’m a cowboy baby”.

As I listened and watched I began to realize that he got “IT”. I will concentrate more on IT as time goes on, but he definitely got IT. IT is about an attitude, a belief, and a whole being. IT is what it takes to be truly successful. IT is a way of living that is different from everyone else.

Then it was completely confirmed with the lyrics “You get what you put in and people get what they deserve.” It is true. Kid Rock gets IT.

So Coach Kip.net is getting more focused, more refined and I think that I know what it is that I can teach. How to get IT? I have transformed my life several times, about once every 10 years. What I have found is that it is not a matter of finding your self, it is a matter of creating yourself.

Lets work on creating you. I know what IT is. I can’t say that I have IT just yet, and I may never have IT. But I will pursue IT, I will look for IT, and I will continuously learn about IT.

All I can do is take my teaching and coaching skills and give you the information to find IT. Only you can get IT for yourself.

Challenge Update

Published by Coach Kip under The Challenge

I have been busily working on taking bids for the redesign of EZ Playbook.  It is a long process.  I guess I thought that with all the web design firms out there it would be a snap.  They all seem very busy to me.  If you are a web designer and have some programming ability this is the job to get into.

I did not make much this week.  I am finalizing the last few pages of Professor Moolah’s book.  Thanks to all of those who have contributed and helped.  For those who want an advanced copy send me an email and I will get you on the list.

I know I need an opt-in email list.  I will be working on that too.  Just so much to do to get set up.  But I am still happy with the way things are going.

So here we go. The stats to now

9/9/2007

Begin

$0.00

9/29/2007

Previous

$143.48

10/6/2007

Gross

$157.69

10/6/2007

Expenses

($186.78)

10/6/2007

Net

I did well but I spent too much.  Well you have to spend money to make money right?  I just need to make a little more.
